I say \"channelled\" because it basically wrote itself, with nods to that band Germans can't pronounce and to \u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca href=\"http:\/\/www.discogs.com\/artist\/5047-Hood\" rel=\"nofollow ugc\"\u003ewww.discogs.com\/artist\/5047-Hood\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan\u003e.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI always wanted to make a 7\" but never had the right song for it, one that's not an album or a compilation song but wants to stand by itself. Here it was...well, almost.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eSome 2 years of steady tweaking later, and thanks to the help of the fantastic Jude Hagan (vocals) and the fantastic Roxane Métayer (strings), it eventually became what it wanted to be.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOnce the THE PERILS was done, the two sibling songs materialised swiftly, but not without their own challenges.
