Joyfully cocked daydream whimsy and stumbling charm transmitted from somewhere deep in the mysterious TRii Zone. That is, I imagine the music of TRjj or Trii or Trii Group or C3TRii or Tacita Trjj—all part of the corporate-sounding “TRii Grouping,” featuring a rotating or maybe just willfully obscured personnel and often issued courtesy of Irai Verlag—originating in some mysterious otherplace, a benevolent version of The Zone in Tarkovsky’s Stalker.

Stretching to nearly two hours, this particular transmission is a double cassette you can plan a day around, letting it spool forth until it becomes a psychoactive sonic wallpaper, a sound installation that's actually nice to listen to, a Wunderkammer of alien synth moves and playful rhythms.
