Softly stunning vocal art music from Ben Vida & collaborators. The hushed stream of verbiage recalls Robert Ashley, though the compositions are closer to the minimalism of Philip Glass or Steve Reich (slowed down). The largely one-note melodies are sung in uncanny unison by a quartet of vocalists, a recitative from the pulsing unconscious of some meditative hive mind.
