This record is so awesome in so many ways I don’t know where to start. Led by percussionist and multi-instrumentalist Chito Kawachi, and featuring Harry Hosono on the bass, it’s a wide-ranging set of fourth-world jams from 1993, dipping into New Wave, tribal dance music, and rainforest ambient, the whole thing misty with dew and sending up fragrant curls of incense. Great reissue from Forest Jams, on vinyl for the first time.
