Woozy lo-fi summer ambience from a quartet of Danish & Swedish underground figures. Like the best releases out of Gothenburg, there’s a total effect that adds up to more than the sum of its intriguing parts. Apart from Post-Tragic Man’s familiar piano stylings and a recognizably consistent speaking voice, it’s hard to say exactly who’s doing what. Sometimes the collaboration is vertical—synths layered over field recordings with spoken word on top—and sometimes it’s more horizontal—a layered, complex arrangement giving way to a lo-fi solo piano reverie. Love this.
