I can't get enough of this duo lately. The tender, wounded quality of both Bloom's singing and Connors playing are such a perfect complements. Factor in her beautiful, world-wise, world-weary songwriting, and this is simply some of the most rawly expressive music I've ever heard. This one's their last album as a duo, from 1984. Now sold out at source, I managed to scrounge up a few last copies of the reissue on blue vinyl (not usually my first choice, but I'll take it).
