Japanese folk-rock legend Morio Agaqta teams with a house band assembled by Yuzuru Agi of Vanity Records, known for  bleeding-edge, experimental post-punk records. The result is a wavy gem that combines the best of both worlds. Check the bass line on “Submarine”—a dead ringer for Joy Division’s “She’s Lost Control,” released that same year.
