Minimalistic, whooshing ambient dub techno with touches of drum & bass and IDM. Dreamlike, contemplative, and self-sufficient. “Last Light of the Sun shows that the album format is a natural home for nthng's expansive musical vision. Throughout its ten compositions, the album moves gracefully between dreamlike melodic passages, restrained, fragile 4/4 structures, melancholic drum & bass punctuated by vintage house vocal fragments, and spacious ambient compositions that feel unmistakably his own.”
