The self-titled debut of a Finnish jazz artist who was, at the time, a one-man band. First released in 2020 as a limited lathe cut of only 20 copies, it has mercifully been reissued since. I just came across this recently and was pretty floored—it’s like the self-sufficiency of Moondog meets the grainy spirituality of early Sun Ra. Nice.
