Hell yeah. Two gloriously cooked sidelong jams from Ambarchi and two who’s-whos of trans-Atlantic collaborators. Konrad Sprenger’s groaning voice synthesis is the texture that snags on the A-side, though Eiko Ishibashi’s glassy piano chords, Joe Talia’s wash of drums, and whatever Ambarchi and Jim O’Rourke are up to on guitars & synth respectively are no less striking. The ghost of electric Miles, present from the outset, takes the wheel on the B-side, as the likes of Will Guthrie, Michiko Ogawa, Fredrik Rasten, James Rushford, and the rest of Ambarchi’s Ghosted trio climb aboard.
