Another set of soulful spiritual jazz from Gustav Horneij, with a live feel that belies its humble origins as a one-man Tascam four-track project, recorded straight to tape. The lack of digital editing probably accounts for some of the organic beauty of this music, but surely it’s the vision, creativity, and vibe of the artist that makes it feel so effortless, as if solitary Swedes manifested jazz bands every day, and this just happens to be one of the better ones.
