It’s deliciously hard to describe the releases on Japan’s Vanity Records or compare them to anything else, even other records on the same label. This one’s no exception: post-punk, yes, dub, yes, industrial, yes. Mutant? Very much so. But impossible to convey the anarchic vigor & abundant left turns of this LP with mere descriptors—you gotta hear it.
