Big personal favorite. A collection of warm, delicate, searching piano & cello improvisations first released on cassette in 2021. The title is suggestive—is this a dawn or dusk record? It’s both, sounding a little different with every change of season, weather, time of day, and mood. Salenta’s quick-witted touch on the piano reminds me a bit of Emahoy, blanketed with tape hiss & mystery and buoyed by Topu’s pliant, considerate cello. Keep it close.
