Seasonal Work The Fugitive Seasonal Mix Series United States, 2026 Cassette
Seasonal Work's home-brewed mixtape series returns with a summer edition, arriving typically if not quite fashionably late. Anyway, summer's always nicer in retrospect.
A soul departs this mortal realm and has a simply lovely time. A picture postcard from the balmy beyond.
Earnest college lit-mag poetry is intoned over wilting piano. Moondog treks through the contemporary Midwest. Minimal Japanese percussion and electronics brush shoulders with wistful girl group melancholia, before John Ashbery takes the train amidst soft voices in the garden...
This mix originally appeared as a guest mix on Slipping's morning show on EHFM in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Home-dubbed onto high-quality “Recording The Masters” tape in plain white shells, with a paste-on photo and hand-folded obi. 60 minutes. Comes with a digital download, emailed upon purchase.
