The second LP from Japan’s Torso refines their indie chamber music sound with ten intuitive, effortless compositions for cello, flute, tape, sax, piano, & brief but memorable vocals. This is totally in its own world, but if you like Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Arthur Russell, those recent selections from Tsuki No Wa and TLF Trio, or the general idea of euphonious homemade music, this could be your album of the year.
